maws.of paws.

growing each day. learning. flocking to me when excited or playful or startled. i couldnt get enough.

...since a few asked about our kittens from yesterdays post; the first photos are kittens from pengy, and butterball was juniors. pre-fixation. we kept them all with us until 9 weeks. when we phoned paws to check-in we were told all had quickly found forever homes but one had sadly passed. paws (a wonderful family oriented organization located locally who help assist in finding families).
i used to love seeing them early mornings, rush-out alltogether. spend the day learning and being curious as a group. our kitty maws no longer make babies so the kitten days are over.

bringing up these photos is a gentle confirmation of how the littlest, most pure moments, can live on forever within ones heart.

To think about them, to remember.

(although a bird would have captured four kitties attention as would have the hefty fly, it was 80 degrees so the answer to yesterdays 'what is it' was a high speed ceiling fan. today it is half that so we turned it off).

wednesday Wonderful! white puffs. and, what is it?

wednesday is wonderful this week since it is our beans 3 year anniversary together. look what our daddy brought home to us today! the smell is wonderful and the leaves are yummy. we know mom liked it too because she was hugging dad for a long time. hmm, now that we think about it the flowers might have been for her.

and......we helped mom cut the stems down and (chew on) clean up loose leaves.

wednesday white puffs. mom calls these toes marshmellow puffs cause they are 'cute round little balls of paw'. did you notice the claws? we think they need to be trimmed.

the marshes belong to our tuxie Pengy. she shows em off real good when she stretches her tummy.

wednesday what is it? can anyone guess What Ms. Junior is looking at up so high?

four guesses,
a) paper airplane
b) weird ten pound fly
c) high speed ceiling fan
d) guest bird in the house

name change

Formerly 'Wlk' has now officially changed over to 'us four gatos' in honor of making our blog a 100% cat blog (and sometimes a pug, when we kitties*cough-cough*feel like sharing). YaY! and continue to enjoy.
(sidenote- we are currently working on adding a new feed so you can re-subscribe since our older button is not working. should have new button up soon. we think this was the problem with the non-updating reader).

got update?

Our friends Eric and Flynn have alerted us that our blog is having some glitches; we are asking for others who follow us or have us in their reader/link to check and see if you are being updated when we add a post. Right now E&F is showing we updated 4 months ago.
It may be something I need to do on my end. I have gone through all the settings and bloglink, etc. and double-checked. Please walk me through what other steps to allow others to be updated. It may be that I just need to fix something small to get it rolling again.

Thank you.

tucked-in-tuxie on tuesday

Pengy.

My floor, my quilt.

What?

much better monday

'Look maw , my nose is all better' is what I heard whispered into my ear this morning. As I turned to see, there perched my cali-cat smiling at the computer screen.
This is what she saw...

Thank you Maggy & Zoey for your thoughtfulness.
We love your work. Yay! , for the power of kindness (and photo imaging : ) .
Here is before picture.

question: since my blog went 'under construction' months ago and sat stagnant it seems some of you who had me in their reader (who were informed when I updated) no longer are being updated. Can some kind soul please help us figure out how to fix this OR please check and see if you are being updated. Let us know.

are you a burnt out blogger?

(note from the cats, 'maw chose to keep sunday simple with some big people words which, in actuality, we don't really get BUT she said our next post will be this week and will again feature the intended...US).

So...I was not just blog burnt-out for four months it was also there was alot going on. It was around October-ish when life events took hold. There was the fact that I was really into my daily hikes. Then came November, and the holidays. By December I was, and still am, concentrating on getting (and staying) pregnant. Then there was a wedding out of town and a family reunion. January and February rolled around quickly. During this time we did conceive, but are miscarrying. I need to get back into exercising. March will be a fresh start to that. We will be trying to conceive again which is exciting. By April I am thinking I may have this blog more creatively up to date. So, was blogger burnout to blame at all? Yep. I did experience the burn and needed a vacation from the internet. Four months qualifies.
