So, did you all catch that one?

but hm? ...NOT to have saved Scruffy.

sending purrs, purrayers and good thoughts to ALL the sick kitties out there on the CB and everywhere tonight that they all get well very soon. 
and that those who are in any pain or suffering are comforted with the LOVE and HOPE of their family.  all the animals!  
i did a badge post a couple days back  BUT since then there are even MORE sweet babies needing purrs! 
i was just reading the CB and am just heart broke on how sick some of our fur friends are right now !!!!
 we hope and pray they recover. 
we know the entire CB is purring for them.
this is all just very sad.  but we HOPE for it to turn to well being again and soon as the kitties heal and get well.  we pray they do!
and for the very very sick babies we send comfort and hugs and our eyes leak hoping you recover!! many purrs out there tonight for all of our fur friends. please get well soon.

here at Us4 Cats, our Pengy was too at the vet last week and she is now FINE !!  thank. goodness. .  i noticed the prior day she was just not herself.  labored breathing, then no appetite or snuggling.    I was then a Wreck of emotion for her wellness.  it turned out she had an infection and got a dual shot of anti biotic AND something to help her bring in more oxygen because she was breathing hard.  i know she was scared.  she kept her head under my coat the whole time at the vet. i don't blame her!!   i know it was tough on her being there but we HAD to get her medicines.  so i think she forgives me now, except for when i give her that yucky liquid anti biotic 2 times daily.  but then she gets temptations !  gosh,    kitties are so brave! she was a trooper thru it and is all WELL now and back to her normal kitty self, snuggling, eating, purring, playing...all the things we beans LOVE to see.  thank.goodness. .  she had a uri years ago and since gets the seezers this time of year, but this year it went mean! mean ole infection!  uri usually are. we dont like em much here! at ALL!   the vet man said if she responded to her meds within a couple days then she would be GOOD to go, and she did! she was better in 1 day!  YAY !!   i think she recovered way before i did. 
hm, in comparison,  animals= strong , humans= weak.  right!

here at Us4 cats this weekend there was alot of creating and baking on recent orders Along with making some more for Our homestead !   so, we wanted to Share some photos of our samples and recent mixed batch(es).  this also gives more detail about what we are selling.  here are a few examples:

we Had to Share! as this turned out to be one of my favorites name Trees !

we are enjoying making these.  for our home and for others.  we have received 3 orders so far.  if anyone is interested in our crafts we would be glad to fill your order!  just click on our sidebar photo and it will link you to our post that goes into details.  to buy, just use our button also on sidebar.

creating these started out as a hobby.  then as i made more it became interesting how i learned all the little things to do that make them special.  first i make the design.  the CAT face is a handmade design.  after i frame it then the detail is added.  once flipped over (very carefully as i found out) then the Cat name is added onto the back.  i engrave those with a utensil. then flip over and back over about 6 more times to fix each side from, well, the flipping.  then color is added.  red, yellow, green, or brown.  sometimes no color, just the Cinnamon brown natural.  Mmm, lets not forget the cinnamon i mix into the salt and flour dough.  Yum!  then they bake.  and bake. and i check on them, make design improvements as they bake.  if names are on the back, they get flipped while baking.  once done, they get oiled over for a Glaze appearance.  then they bake some more !!   this is done twice.   the final step, a dash of cinnamon natural essential oil with a hint of apple is glazed over the outside. i started doing this as i noticed it really boosted the Natural ground Cinnamon aroma of the mixture.  and, they bake for five additional minutes. then, they hang to finish setting.  the process is about 1.5 - 2 hours total to make 3 ornaments.  i suppose if i wasn't so anal about them it would take less time.  but to me these are special and the result is worth it. 

if you would like to order, you can get them in any color, or no color. scented or unscented.  and/or the colors can be an all Natural  (as seen in our first photos in our sidebar)  it is up to you. and we recently dropped the price!

12/3 updated:

that above post was a bad day.  pengy was ill and had to go to the vet.  she had an injection of a super power antibiotic WITH something to help her get more oxygen.  we were sent home with this in liquid form for the next week. we also gave her Gatorade by syringe until she resumed her appetite.  she has an infection and was breathing heavy and it scared the calmness right ouuta me!  
good news is in less than a day she is back to herself again.  eating. drinking. purring and allowing us to love on her and her loving on us again. thank goodness. thank goodness. thank goodness!

  

Sooo, yeah I was a bit in a funk-
and then this whole thing with our crafts sales just confused me on the Wrong day!   I was just Stumped to have gotten so much encouragement to make and sell these from emails and numerous comments.  so i decided to make them. they are Quite time consuming to prepare and bake correctly as you can imagine.  and then we got 1 order, and then none.  What?!?!   so as you can see,  Stumped is an understatement.

we have received 2 more orders though.   so,  THANK YOU for ordering these ornaments to help support our fundraiser.  we SOooo appreciate that!
